With FundTier providing a secure platform to match borrowers with investors and facilitate the transactions, SMEs are able to diversify their funding options and obtain flexible debt financing to develop their business. At the same time, investors are empowered to support local enterprises and earn returns in the form of interests.
FundTier Pte. Ltd. (the “Company”) which is registered in Singapore (Co. Reg. No. 201533158K) is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) – Capital Markets Services (CMS) Licence No. CMS100652-2. In other words, we are well regulated by MAS having to uphold the requirements of a licence holder, making us a highly credible company.

To ensure a secure and transparent funds management process, FundTier engages the service of Vistra Trust (Singapore) Pte Ltd to handle the collection and disbursement of all funds. Vistra is an MAS-licensed trust company who manages the escrow account for both the borrowers and investors of FundTier.

To register an account with FundTier, your company has to meet the following eligibility criteria:
FundTier reviews all funding requests on a case-by-case basis. Please submit a loan application form and we will get back to you within three working days.
In our application form, you will need to fill in details about your company and its directors. We will also require you to upload the following standard financing documents:
Each funding request listing will provide a description of the business but will not name the company. Only upon committing to fund the loan request, investors will then be allowed to view the name of the company.
No, only registered investors will be able to access certain information about your business. This is to enable them to make informed decisions on pledging to the funding request. Otherwise, all other information submitted to FundTier will be kept strictly private and confidential.
There are no fees to list funding requests.
Once we receive all the information required, we will contact you for further discussions and clarifications. A funding application can be closed within a week depending on how quick you are able to prepare the necessary documentation.
Yes. If your funding request is not at least 80% subscribed, you may withdraw your application.
Upon hitting a minimum commitment of 80%, the funding request will be considered as successful. The funds raised (any amount between 80-100%) will be transferred to your bank account at the end of the funding period, even if it does not eventually reach 100%.
If the level of commitment does not reach a minimum commitment of 80% by the end of the funding period, the application will not go through.
Funding will also automatically close when commitment reaches 100% within the funding period.

Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Foreigners are welcome to be a FundTier investor, regardless of whether you reside in Singapore. You will need to be at least 18 years old and upload the necessary documents as required by FundTier.
For corporate investors, all ACRA-registered companies are welcome. You will need to upload a certified true copy of your latest ACRA Bizfile Business Profile Report for our review.
For Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents:
Examples: Utility bill, credit card statement, bank statement and government letter.

After you have registered and uploaded all the required documents, FundTier will review your application and usually approve your application within 3 business days.
Investors are required to deposit a minimum capital of S$50,000 into their FundTier holding account. It is up to the investors’ discretion on the amount to invest at any point in time in multiples of SGD1,000.
No, registered members of FundTier are under contractual agreement not to contact other members directly. To safeguard the integrity of your loan agreement, members should not attempt to enter into any transactions with other users outside of FundTier’s official platform.
FundTier thoroughly reviews each loan application, which must be supported by relevant financing documents. In addition, we conduct due diligence on the background of the borrowing company and personally meet up with every company before approving their FundTier borrower accounts. Only companies that pass our strict assessment process are allowed to list on our platform.
As each investment is different, the interest rates offered will differ as determined by a multitude of factors.
Your monthly interest distribution will be credited into your account on a fixed day of each month, in accordance with your Promissory Note.
To fully support our investors, FundTier provides a reminder to all borrowers before each repayment date to ensure timely repayment. In the event of late repayment, a late payment fee will be charged and our internal credit collection procedure will begin immediately.
Yes, you can participate in more than one investment so long as you have sufficient funds in your FundTier investment account.
No, when an investment reaches 100% commitment, the funding request will be automatically closed.
No, FundTier is not a deposit-taking institution and the funds are held in a non-interest bearing escrow account.
All investments carry risks and investors are reminded to perform their own due diligence by carefully reviewing the nature of each funding request and the loan terms.
Investors’ funds are managed by Vistra Trust (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Vistra”), an MAS licensed trust company. In the unlikely event that FundTier ceases operations, Vistra will continue to handle the funds in the trust account. The financing arrangement between the borrowers and investors shall also remain valid and should there be a need, we will be work with a reputable law firm to fulfill the obligations of the platform.
